December 2023 - Nothing Special

Program Host: Vicki Dello Joio

December 14,2023

8:30 –9:30 PM Eastern

‘Before enlightenment, mountains are mountains and clouds are clouds.

During enlightenment, there are no mountains, there are no clouds.

After enlightenment, mountains are mountains and clouds are clouds.’

We spend our lives cultivating one thing or another. Or at least we should be cultivating some personal betterment discipline. I know I’m preaching to the choir when it comes to this. However, what happens when we finally learn that Qigong set, Taiji form or challenging piece of music? Yes, it is an accomplishment, but after you reach the top of the mountain and enjoy the view for a moment, that accomplishment becomes part of the cumulative you have known as you. Then what? Let’s talk about not only the approach to acquiring something, but what we do with it when accomplished and ultimately, how the accomplishment becomes integrated into who you are. Should be fun!!
