The Healing Wave Project was implemented a few years ago when our community realized that Qigong could help in many situations facing our nation. The Healing Wave Project continues as an outreach—promoting the health and healing benefits of practicing Qigong.
Discovering Qigong DVD (Healing Wave)
Our "Discovering Qigong" DVD was created from an ancient form of traditional Chinese medical practice and is a non-denominational form of exercise.
Our "Five Treasures Qigong" set is designed to reduce stress and increase energy. It is also very rejuvenating and renewing. It features gentle movements, deep breathing, healing sounds, and meditation techniques that promote the circulation of blood and Qi (vital energy) within the body. Just a few minutes of practice with our DVD can evoke states of internal stillness, centering, balance and a feeling of well being. Qigong is also practiced to strengthen the internal organs along with the immune system.
The more you practice the greater the benefit.

Interesting Note
Several NQA Directors were in a shop in Albuquerque, NM, following the February, 2008, Spring Board meeting. The shop attendant, being a polite tourism host, asked why these people were in town. When Qigong was mentioned, he became very excited and said he was practicing forms from a DVD that he had purchased and wondered if the National Qigong had any similar information. At that request, the office manager, Ali Wolf, went two blocks down the street and returned with the 5 Treasures/Healing Wave DVD, which he purchased on the spot. Introduction to Qigong and the NQA can come in many unexpected ways!!
