Bill Douglas: THE GOSPEL OF SCIENCE: Mind-Blowing New Science
on Ancient Truths to Heal Our Stress, Lives, and Planet

by Bill Douglas | November 5, 2020 | Program Host: Vicki Dello Joio

Did you realize there is a very simple inexpensive solution to our global healthcare crisis, and in fact for virtually every crisis humanity faces?  What if there was a virtually free way to enlarge our brains, boost our creativity, make us kinder and more compassionate, reduce violence & crime, reduce global conflict, and while doing that, save the world trillions of dollars per year in healthcare spending?

Science appears to be showing that coded within the fabric of physical reality is a formula that could solve all of our social and global challenges, and the major factor in that formula is compassion. Genetic science, evolutionary science, and modern economics all point to compassion as the key to both personal health and the economic health of our society. Science is also showing that alpha brain wave-producing mind-body meditative practices physically increase the size of the empathy-compassion part of the brain, while shrinking the stress-fear part of the brain. What if we could enlarge the brains of an entire generation, enable them to be more creative, have higher intelligence, and have larger empathy-compassion parts of the brain?  Schools and prisons have done this, and they have seen massive positive transformation in their institutions.

Douglas’s new book, The Gospel of Science, provides 600 pages of heavily cited studies and articles proving the case that compassion is the key to our problems, and it is within humanity’s grasp to create an entire new generation with expanded humanity, compassion, and the intelligence to change the world in tectonic ways.
