In Chinese medicine, poor management of emotions is regarded as the major pathological factor for severe illnesses. In the bible of TCM, The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, it says, "Detach and remain in absolute calmness, qi will flow naturally, keep the essence and mind inside, no way to fall ill." Today’s Qi Talks will discuss the relationship of the management of emotions and qigong practice.

Many qigong enthusiasts focus heavily on the physical practices but overlook the importance of the management of emotions. indeed, as a form of inward seeking practice to keep the mind inside the body, qigong is a powerful tool to "detach and remain in absolute calmness" and it is also one of the major factors why qigong is an effective self-healing practice. Join us to find out how to tame anger and frustration, and pick up a simple, 2-minute exercise that will help you to calm the mind and restore your clarity.
