Sacred Heart Qigong was born out of a deep need for women to have a space where they could practice together, cultivate resilience, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive community. Rooted in ancient Daoist traditions yet fully adapted for modern life, this approach blends classical Qigong principles with contemporary understandings of emotional wellness, neuroscience, and practical application. Developed by Dr. Christine Sanmiquel, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and seasoned Qigong teacher, Sacred Heart Qigong integrates breath, movement, and intention to create a way of being—not just a daily practice, but a method for living with greater alignment, ease, and authenticity.
In this Qi Talk, Christine will share how her background in Chinese medicine, Medical Qigong, and as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), shapes the practical approach of Sacred Heart Qigong. This system is not just about cultivating energy on the cushion—it’s about learning to bring that energy into our relationships, work, and everyday decision-making. By embracing seasonal living and natural rhythms, we develop a deeper understanding of yin and yang beyond rigid dualities, recognizing that balance is fluid and always shifting. This perspective allows us to move through life with an open heart, making space for both action and rest, structure and spontaneity, strength and softness.
