Fear takes over when there's a diagnosis or uncertainty with a mammography. Let's take another view. In Eastern traditions, we're taught that when energy flows, disease cannot enter. Energy flow is impacted by lifestyle, stress, and poor diet to name a few. This class will address rebalancing the body for breast health and cancer recurrence prevention from a Chinese medicine point of view using Qigong practice and natural healing tips/guidance. Once you've completed the training, we encourage you to share the knowledge and Qigong with your clients and community. Dates of 3-part training: Sept. 13-20-27 at 9:30 AM (ET). Classes are interactive and include 7 select Qigong movements. You will learn: * how to practice Qigong to enhance breast health * how this Qigong practice supports digestive health * how to easily adjust your eating style * how stress unbalances the body.
Thousands of years ago, from the depths of ancient Chinese cultural connection with nature, the Yang Sheng (Nourishing Life) practice, seeds of Qigong and Chinese Medicine began to evolve. Yang Sheng includes Dao Yin (guided stretching exercises), meditation/breathing,dietetics, herbs, massage, sleep patterns, life guidance - all in alignment with the subtle 24 Qi Nodes, seasonal changes of Qi throughout the year. These ancient techniques are very timely in this modern era of Climate Change. Come join us on the night of the New Moon as Fay McGrew reveals the basics of Yang Sheng and leads us in practice for the“Autumn Equinox”.
Of all my inner cultivation experiences, I find the most powerful practices to be from Fu 符, Chinese Talismans. In the EMei Sage Style Qigong School 峨眉真功, the lineage master traditionally teaches the talisman system to only a limited number of students throughout his or her entire life. Although other EMei forms may be taught openly and without restriction, this most revered system is carefully guarded. According to Wu 巫 (Chinese shamanism) custom, talismans allow us direct access to universal Qi forthe purposes of inner cultivation, healing, and creating harmonizing Fengshui energy. About the Red Phoenix Talisman In this training, Master will share Red Phoenix talisman cultivation and healing principles.
XinYi 心意, or Heart-Mind internal martial arts, holds its origins in the study of the Daoist Hidden Immortal Lineage. The principles of XinYi martial arts are the same as those of traditional Daoist Qigong practices (internal alchemy). In the Daoist traditions, the dragon and snake represent spiritual transformation, flexibility, and moving through obstacles.
In order to support the traditional cultivation practices of Qi-friends from all over the world, I will continue to offer weekly Qigong classes through Zoom. Aligned with the Great Way of Nature, the topics of these classes change with each season, providing opportunities to harmonize our personal Qi with Daoist cosmological GanZhi calendar. My weekly seasonal classes are donation based, open to everyone, regardless of experience.
