Orient yourself toward freedom and healing in this double session where you deepen your understanding of how Qigong works through experiencing it in real-time. Distress and tension in the body can feel like a block that slows the flow of Qi or blocks it all together and creates deficiencies in Qi in surrounding structures. This creates a sensory entanglement in the energetic system, which can create the experience that pain, or distress holds you instead of you holding it. Using breath, familiar gentle Qigong movements from classic Qigong forms, this session’s practice leaders guide your interoceptive sensing as you practice encouraging compassionate presence with what you are experiencing. This is also an educational practice that brings awareness to organs and meridians and various acupoints that can assist you in understanding and sensing blocks clearly in the body or mind, not to anchor them, but to transform yourself.
