Kelly is a longtime Qigong practitioner (10 years+) and is passionate about teaching this wonderful ancient healing art to adults and children. She learned about Qigong by way of Yoga, which she has practiced since she was 20 years old. After taking many Holden Qigong classes, Kelly decided in 2021 to take a deeper dive into training to become a teacher of this wonderful ancient Chinese Healing Art. As a Tier 1 Certified Holden Qigong Teacher (200 hours of training), she will lead you thru the fundamental practices of 5 Element series, 3 Treasures, Micro cosmic orbit, breath work and meditation helping you to tap into the energy of your body, emotions, and mind. Kelly loves to make the classes fun and accessible as well as share some of the science behind the movements. At the end of class, she hopes that you feel more energized, relaxed, and grounded…leaving with a smile on your face. Over the years she had taken classes and attended workshops with esteemed Qigong masters like Lee Holden, Mantak Chia, Ken Cohen and Daisy Lee. Kelly is passionate about exploring the incredible healing power of this ancient Chinese art. After dedicating 33 years in clinical research and development for a major pharmaceutical company, Kelly decided to embark on a new journey and dove deeper into qigong practice and enrolled in a Qigong teacher program in 2021. Today, Kelly is a Tier 1 Certified Holden QiGong Teacher, having completed over 200 hours of training. She is also a member of the National Qigong Association. Throughout her practice, Kelly has come to appreciate the critical role that the 5 Elements play in Qigong. Thus, her teachings include breathing exercises, invigorating movements and stretches, flowing routines, and a brief meditation. To date Kelly has taught at a senior center, community learning venues and arboretum within my community.
