Online Webinar Silk Reeling Qigong with Sifu Dan Jones

Dan Jones

December 3, 2025

What is Silk Reeling?  As a silkworm draws silk from its cocoon in a smooth, spiraling, unbroken thread, Tai Chi/Qigong silk reeling enables freedom, fluidity, and flow of movement.  Healing Benefits  Develops root and balance: the legs anchor while the waist drives the spirals  Improves coordination and strength  Calms and focuses the mind as attention stays with the unbroken spiral of posture, movement and breath  Strengthens the connective tissue  Increases the secretion of synovial fluid which lubricates joints  Physical Movement  These specific, repetitive spiral movement exercises loosen the joints, while benefiting the muscles, sinews and circulation. Practice patterns focus on the ground connection, knee alignment, kua sinking, waist connection, opening/closing of joints and dantian rotation. They train the body to move in coordinated spirals as one unit, led by the dantian. This creates whole-body connected movement where power comes not just from one limb alone, but the body as a unified system. These exercises also comprise the basic components and foundational building blocks of Taijiquan.  Energetic Movement  These movements develop ‘spiral energy’ within the body, cultivating Qi flow. This helps clear blockages and strengthens the channels as it circles and spirals through the body. Like the unbroken silk thread, energy is never broken, but flows continuously…Yin, inward and gathering, Yang, outward and expanding.  REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN  Dates: December 3, 10, 17 Time: 11 am - 12.30 pm  Cost:$129 Participants will receive all Zoom session recordings even if unable to attend in person.

Seasonal Qi Zoom * Free

Sheri Nicholson

January 10, 2026

Winter Qigong practices focus on the organs of the Water Element: In your body, the water element particularly affects your kidneys, urinary bladder, fluids, spinal cord, bone marrow and brain. During this period, all of nature is in a state of stillness and hibernation. Therefore, it’s the best time of year to conserve your energy and nourish your qi. Qigong practices for winter emphasize stillness and inward reflection, sleeping longer hours, taking nans self-massage and maintaining internal warmth throughout the organs especially in the lower Dantian, which is your internal furnace. ✨ No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to move gently and connect. ✨ Free and open to all—feel free to invite friends and family! We’re excited to share this calming, grounding space with you. Hope to see you there! To your health, Deirdre, Sheri, Sifu Dan, Maureen, Betty, Deb, Meghan and Mike  Register in advance for this meeting:  https://taichihealthandwellness.com/

Clearing Negative Energy

Rachel Lee

January 31, 2026

The Mike’s Net class covers the theory and practice of clearing one’s field of foreign energy (FE) and supporting practices for strengthening our personal energy fields.

In our current environments, we are all seeing more evidence of negative energy. Mike’s Net is an effective healing act to dispel negative energy that does not belong in our fields. We can use this healing on ourselves, our families, friends, clients, as well as on businesses or other groups.

During the class, we will cover and review
• how to set a protected and sacred field for clearing FE
• the different types of FE and how FE can enter our fields
• how to recognize when FE has entered or is trying to come in
• lifestyle and Qigong practices to strengthen and cultivate our energy fields and our field’s filter
