What are ways one builds internal power within the body? Shoshanna Katzman will be sharing her insights about how to identify, nourish, and cultivate energies within your center of power – home of jing and where foundational qi is transformed and stored. Jing essence is revered as the “original water” forming the basis of yin and yang energies. Qi is a vital life force, a healing vibration that permeates your mind, body, and spirit. It is the guiding force at the “Heart of Qigong and Taiji”, one behind each movement and act of stillness.

Concentrating your mind on this vortex of highly rotating energy — located in what is known as your lower dantian — allows you to harmonize and center yourself physically and energetically. Your mind quiets, your spirit consolidates within your body, and your breath deepens. This empowers your body to become a crucible for the integration and regulation of abundantly flowing qi throughout your entire being. Cultivating your center of power through mind intent allows you to master flow of qi and reach your fullest potential. This culminates in an unlimited source of intrinsic power that sustains you through life.

The rhythmic breathing and flowing postures of Qigong and Taiji activate and cultivate qi within your center of power. Abundant levels of qi stored within this energetic vortex forms the well-spring from which your fountain of youth emerges. Cultivating energy of this “elixir field of heat” stokes your digestion, clears your mind, and enhances your breathing capacity. Vital energy now spreads throughout your entire system producing a more robust body, sharper mind and enlivened, yet tranquil spirit– bringing you into a place of profound harmony, power, and peace.
